Loïc Lepiniec

Embryogenesis, epigenetic control and seed size

Main research interests

The scientific objective of our group is to identify and characterize key functions and to contribute to the elucidation of genetic, molecular, and cellular mechanisms that control seed development and quality. Ongoing projects focus on the maturation of embryo, oil and flavonoid biosynthesis, and development of the integuments. A specific attention is paid to transcriptional regulatory networks that have been shown to play key roles and provide interesting tools for improving seed qualities.
